Happy #MusicTherapyMonday!

Please enjoy this candid clip we caught of a classic music therapy moment at our studio. Sitting still for more than a few seconds is a challenge for some kids. Music therapists are trained to use very specific cues and strong rhythm to help make it really easy for kids to focus and control impulses. These cues often involve a perfect mix of someone’s favorite music and something that matches his mood and meets him where he is. Many times, this turns out to be a familiar song (like Mother Goose, Michael Jackson, or Taylor Swift) remixed hundreds of different ways! I hope you laugh along watching this video as much as we did filming it.
